A LOCAL JUNIOR STOCK MARKET LISTING IPO CAME TO A SCREECHING HALT!

First when I saw this promo, I said oh, not again. As far as I saw it this was just another paper pusher type business.

Then I noticed the name “Exponential”, I said that sounds like what my pending patent – Public Utility Product/Public Utility Service Market Process REF# 1/18/5242 (Provisional under section 24 of JIPO Act) which can provide very high returns.

For sure I thought to myself my influence must have played a part in their name. But then again I said myself, naaah. For with such a name anyone would be wary or scared of the name as it can with huge losses, as it is certainly not using my patent pending (not holding my breath either) economic and financial formula.

Also I saw zero innovation, no real job creation, just a typical paper pusher trader like majority of the securities dealers in Jamaica.

I know nothing of the dude in the article, looks sharp in his suit and looks and sounds like he should be on Wall Street (Got the last line from a comment I just read on the JG article).

The fact is hedge funds in my mind took a beating in the states if I am not mistaken. And such types if I am not led astray, was a major factor in the world economic crisis and depression based on crazy and sexy financial derivatives which for the most part failed.

Do not get me wrong, I love the idea of complex math working wonders in the finance sector. So as the finance is supported by first and foremost sound economics. And I wish this guy start up major success when he comes again to the market with something better. As it is certainly not a VC model.

TECH VC as a top blog in this space. I guess this blog does have some clout. It makes its way around the top 4% of Jamaica’s economical and political elite. So for those who find value in reading it, continue to do so. After all it is under 3 years old.

Based on one comment/the last comment made on the last article link posted above. I was surprised at first what I read on that comment. I did a web search for the website Exponential Holdings Limited.

I was surprised on what I found. There does not seem to be any connection between the Jamaican company and the website for Exponential Capital Holdings Limited
